This is one of the most collectable enamel Gold lockets you will ever see!
Circa 1900
This beautifully crafted 10ct Gold locket depicts in a fanciful way the vices of men Playing cards, women, drinking and sport. Rather than condemning the vices of drink, gambling and women, this compelling locket celebrates them, its such a wonderful find.
The locket is stamped 10ct Gold, possibly American, perhaps originated from Vegas!
The Four Vices is usually seen on cufflinks, in all my years of dealing in jewellery this is a first to have the enamelling on a locket.
Two photographs can be placed inside the locket, it snaps shut securely together.
The enamelling is not worn at all.
It weighs 9.4 grams
It measures 29mm across x 34mm down
In very good condition all round.
